06:02 AM
Between 3:30 PM and 10:34 PM PDT we experienced increased error rates for requests made to applications hosted on App Runner in the AP-SOUTHEAST-1 Region. During this time, requests to applications running on App Runner may have returned a 404 Not Found error. Additionally, operations such as Creating or Updating App Runner services were also impacted by this issue. Engineers were automatically engaged at 3:42 PM, and began working on identifying the root cause. In parallel, we began working on multiple paths to mitigate the issue. At 7:59 PM, we communicated to impacted customers via the Your Account view of the AWS Health Dashboard. At 10:13 PM, we identified the root cause to be an issue with the subsystem responsible for request routing. By 10:32 PM, we had implemented our mitigation and began to observe error rates decrease. At 10:34 PM, we had fully mitigated the issue. We recommend customers retry any failed requests during this time. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.
