Starting at 8:36 AM PDT, we began experiencing increased processing times for queued queries in the US-WEST-2 Region. We have identified the root cause to be a recent change and have rolled back. You may experience increased query times or an error when attempting to submit queries. You will need to resubmit any failed query submitted prior to 10:20 AM PDT. We are observing initial signs of recovery and continue to monitor for full resolution as the query backlog begins to process. We will provide an update by 10:50 AM or sooner if more information becomes available.

Between 8:36 AM and 10:55 AM PDT, we experienced increased processing times and query submission failures for queries in the US-WEST-2 Region. At 8:49 AM, our engineers were engaged and began investigating the root cause. By 9:27 AM, we identified the root cause to be a recent configuration change. At 9:40 AM, we began implementing a mitigation plan. By 10:06 AM, we observed initial signs of recovery, and by 10:55 AM, the service had fully recovered. If you experience an error, you will need to resubmit your query. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.
