Between 8:19 AM and 10:59 AM PDT we experienced periods of increased API error rates for requests performing inference using cross region inference profile for Claude Sonnet 3.7 in the US-EAST-2 Region. During this time the InvokeModel, InvokeModelWithResponseStream, Converse, and ConverseStream APIs were impacted. During this time customers may have received a 5XX error response. By 10:50 AM PDT we began to see initial signs of recovery and by 10:59 AM PDT we observed recovery in all Regions. The issue is resolved and the service is operating normally.
