We have identified the root cause to be a recent configuration change. We are actively engaged and working on multiple parallel paths to mitigate the issue. Customers using Glue 4.0 or below are unaffected. We will provide additional information within the next 30-60 minutes, or sooner if we have additional information to share.

Customers using Glue 4.0 and below were unaffected. Engineers were automatically engaged at 6:02 PM, and began working on multiple parallel paths to identify the root cause and mitigate the issue. At 6:42 PM, we communicated to impacted customers via the Your Account view of the AWS Health Dashboard. At 7:30 PM, we identified the root cause to be a recent configuration change and have rolled back. At 7:46 PM, we had fully mitigated the issue. We recommend customers resubmit any failed jobs during this time. The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally.
